COVID-19 Preventative Measures

All Sunshine Scuba employees have taken a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. This will reinforce the safety of participants and staff and help to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
In order to have a safe and enjoyable experience
The following guidelines are implemented during business hours at Sunshine Scuba to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.
Store/Staff Guidelines
- Upon entering the store, please disinfect your hands with the hand sanitizer provided.
- Things that customers commonly come into direct contact with, such as doorknobs, tables, and toilets, are frequently cleaned and disinfected.
- We regularly monitor the health of our staff members.
Course/Tour Guideline
- All vehicles used to transport participants are thoroughly sanitized beforehand and ventilated during the commute.
- All rental equipment is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before and after each use.
- Each mouthpiece on the regulators is cleaned and sanitized before and after each use; however, it is possible to request a new mouthpiece for $8. If you wish to do so, please let us know.
Other Guidelines
- Please try to bring your own drinks.
- Please make sure to frequently wash your hands for your and others’ safety.
- We ask that you use the anti-fog spray provided to defog your diving masks.
- Please try to avoid densely populated areas before and between dives.
- Please refrain from entering the store if you have any of the following symptoms:
- Cold symptoms (sneezing or coughing)
- Fever of 99.5°F (37.5°C) or higher
- Fatigue or shortness of breath
- Coughing or tightness in the chest
- If you have been in close contact with anyone suspected or diagnosed of having COVID-19.
- Any other possible symptoms of COVID-19
